John Pitts

Managing Director

John Pitts is the Managing Director of eJet International.  With nearly 30 years of professional experience in the engineering and project management, operation and commercial management of aviation fuel facilities at major airports around the world, John’s experience enables him to bring both tried and tested best practice design and new innovative ideas to the table.

John has a wealth of technical knowledge about aviation fuel facilities at major international airports having worked on projects at Singapore Changi, London Heathrow and Gatwick, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Sydney, Brussels, Auckland, Delhi, Bangalore and Milan Malpensa international airports.

Most notably, John was General Manager between 1996 – 99 of the oil company/airline joint venture at the new Hong Kong International Airport, responsible for delivering the US$ 250 million new jet fuel infrastructure (construction management, project finance, business set-up and then operation), and had a leading role in the design and implementation of Open Access at Hong Kong International Airport (the first example of true Open Access outside North America), following this with the design and implementation of Open Access in India (Bangalore and Delhi).

Richard Whitwell

Business Analyst

Richard comes from a back ground in financial software development having worked for a major high street bank for many years and brings a wealth of business analysis experience gained during delivering complex projects across a number of banking areas. Previously more interested in jumping out of perfectly good aircraft, he is also interested in normal aspects of aviation both technical and commercial.

Paul Knight

Operations Specialist

Paul is a successful aviation fuels industry Manager with over 30 years’ experience in the operation of Airport Installations and Into-plane Fuelling Facilities, Maintenance and Technical Support, Personnel and Location Management. Paul is  currently providing specialist leadership and expertise on HSSE, audits, statutory and industry compliance, processes, management systems and training for private, commercial and military aviation facilities.

Martin Keane

Project Engineer

With over 25 years of experience in Oil and Gas, Petro-Chemical Plant Construction & Project Management., Martin has previously held Construction Manager positions on a variety of internationally diverse projects, which have included Oil Refinery, Gas Plant, Aviation Fuel Depots/ Hydrant Systems, Propylene, Phenol and extensive GTL experience constructing ASU Oxygen & Hydrogen Plants, L/B Transmission Pipelines & Plant Turnarounds. Martin’s experience includes Client Representative and EPC / PMC Projects – Feed through to Commissioning. Martin is passionate about HSE with a dedicated approach to each project to ensure safe completion, surpassing quality requirements whilst maintaining schedule and budget.

Brian Rostron

Aviation Fuel Project Manager

A positive, proactive and dynamic professional with extensive senior level experience as a Consultant and Project Engineer in the international oil and gas industries. With considerable expertise acquired in both onshore and offshore environments, Brian’s main areas of expertise include designing piping systems and pipelines and repairing, modifying and maintaining existing installations.

Brian possesses strong organisation and prioritisation skills and is able to effectively control materials and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with specifications.

With excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, Brian is able to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and colleagues alike. He is a motivational and inspirational manager of multi-skilled, international project teams who thrives in highly pressurised and challenging environments.

Chelladurai Boopathy

Project Engineer

Chelladurai (Chells) has handled many technically challenging projects and received recognition for designing India’s longest Aviation Fuel Hydrant System– 13 km of underground piping. He administered a team to handle three tank farm projects concurrently and delivered the same all on time. Chelladurai has previously published a technical database of pipe sizing, pressure drop analysis & surge analysis for developing in-house software and AS 2885.5 compliant database for field pressure testing.

His key Strengths are Piping Design & Engineering, Pressure vessels, Project Management, Commercial Operations Management, Stress Analysis, Hydraulic Calculation

Katherine Laing

Finance Director

Katherine started her first business at the age of 26.  Since when she has raised a family and continued to be involved in facilitating enterprises, including more recently, working on a pilot scheme in the Mental Health Sector of the NHS.

Always having excellent helicopter vision, Katherine consistently demonstrates an ability to see the bigger picture. In this context, it is a refreshing advantage not to have deep experience of our, or any other, particular industry – we have sufficient of this already. Instead, being able to bring a set of diverse experiences and genuine common sense are essential attributes for a business which is growing strongly and has clear vision of where it wants to get to. Katherine has worked for eJet for the last 7 years and is continuing to enjoy the challenge of enabling the company to expand whilst continuing to deliver world class services globally.

Lyndon Clark

Procurement Consultant

A professional with 36 years’ experience in the downstream oil industry, initially within maintenance and turnaround teams as a welder, then in materials planning and procurement.

Lyndon has extensive experience of refining maintenance, turnarounds and projects at Esso Petroleum Refinery in the UK. Further roles and responsibilities have included mentoring new hires in the ExxonMobil Czechia Business Centre, Prague Czech Republic for both materials and services contracts, and working within affiliate procurement organisations for regional contracts.

Key strengths are procurement contracting and contract management materials planning.

Sonya Bethune

Programme Manager

A highly motivated and conscientious Programme Manager. Sonya has over 15 years’ experience of managing projects in a range of industrial sectors including Pharmaceuticals, logistics, services, transport and the public sector. With expertise in designing, planning and managing programmes and projects leading to successful deployments in demanding stakeholder environments, Sonya combines excellent knowledge of the full project life-cycle with the ability to build relationships and communicate well at all levels.

Additionally, Sonya possesses skills including line management, agile processes, budget management (up to £30m), change management and vendor management.

Sonya’s knowledge, management and expertise regularly ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and regularly on budget.
