eJet celebrates 18 years of international service

aircraft fuel upliftOver 2 million air miles, 50 airport projects and a stack of frequent flyer membership cards – that’s what Tiverton-based global aviation fuel specialist, eJet International, has amassed over 18 years of business.

eJet works at some of the world’s busiest airports, providing project management, consultancy and engineering services relating to the fuelling of aircraft. The company is currently working in Saudi Arabia, Luxembourg and Dublin.

“We have come a long way since we first started…over 6,000 miles to be exact,” said MD John Pitts. “The company was established in Hong Kong, when I worked on a pioneering project for the industry at the international airport there. We moved to the UK in 2006, but our strong ties to major airports worldwide, have resulted in some fantastic projects at most of the significant global hubs.”

Over the last decade, eJet has expanded its services to reach a wider range of aviation clients, and is currently developing a number of specialist software products.

Despite plans for continued growth (and more air miles), John does admit that the team all looks forward to heading back to the South West after a long trip:

“It fills me with pride to look back over the last 18 years, and to see how far we have come, but it always feels good to touch down back in Devon at the end of the day.”
