ISO9001 – eJet Passes Latest Surveillance Audit

In September 2017 eJet became ISO 9001 certified. It was the culmination of several months of hard work by the whole team. ISO 9001 requires the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) covering areas of a business such as training, services, people and facilities. The QMS provides a framework for continuous improvement across the business and focuses heavily on customer satisfaction, effective senior leadership and operational efficiency. It is a gold standard that is only achieved through a rigorous audit process conducted by an externally appointed body.

Every year following the initial accreditation a surveillance audit needs to take place. This is to ensure that the standards of the certification are being upheld and the QMS is still fit for purpose. Our first surveillance audit took place in September and we are very pleased to have passed this for another year.

What does this mean for our clients or anyone considering working with us?

It means that you can be assured of receiving a quality service from the point of enquiry right through to project closure. Our QMS provides mechanisms to help us ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, that communication is clear throughout, that only highly trained members of staff are appointed for project work and that client feedback is actively sought and welcomed when given. As well as project work, the reach of ISO 9001 extends even further into company operations and governance. It means we invest in on-going training for our employees, that we have policies in place to secure data and protect our systems and that we keep abreast of all industry standards and regulations to ensure that we are fully compliant at all times.

As well as holding an ISO 9001 accreditation, eJet is also a member of the IATA Strategic Partnership Program, the Joint Inspection Group (JIG) and the Energy Institute.
